Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Quiet Cockatoo Pty Ltd (ABN 25 702 904 934) (“Quiet Cockatoo”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. It applies to this website, quietcockatoo.com, and to the apps and online services we publish, including Voyarc and Labelwise. Where a product has its own privacy notice, that notice adds detail to this policy and takes precedence for that product.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write, including any attachments.
- When you use our apps. Each product collects the data it needs to work, such as your email address for an account and the content you create in it (for example trips, routes or label data). The data each product collects is set out in that product and in its App Store privacy details.
- Payments. If a product is paid, payment is handled by the app store or a payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- This website. This website does not use analytics or tracking scripts and does not set cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for a short period for security purposes.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to reply to enquiries, to run and improve our products, to provide support, to prevent misuse and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for an unrelated purpose without your consent.
Where it is stored
Information is stored with reputable cloud service providers that we use for hosting, email and data storage. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. Where information is held overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider protects it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Data is encrypted in transit and access to it is restricted.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to service providers who process it on our behalf, when you ask us to, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Support emails are generally kept for up to two years. App account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period after you close your account, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Where a product lets you delete your account or data directly, you can also do so in the app.
Children
Our website and products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will notify users of our products where reasonably possible.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please email [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
